In less than a week we will be gathering on the campus of Randolph-Macon College and begin our classical odyssey.  All the packets have arrived at the praetorium and ancillary materials are swamping the receiving department at R-MC.  I hope all of you are as eager as I and the rest of the staff are to begin.
A few virtual reminders:

1. don't forget a Roman (Greek is okay too) costume.  You will need it several times.
2. a small board game or deck of cards may come in handy.
3. watch the weather before you finish the packing.  Central Virginia can be hot and humid (and usually is)
4. bring ordinary school items (pencils/pens/paper)
5. bring extraordinary postal items (stamps, envelopes)...someone back home would like to hear from you!
